Justin Esarey graduated in 2008 with a Ph.D. in Political Science from Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL. He also holds a BS in Economics and a BA in Political Science from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, OH. Professor Esarey's research interests are in statistical methodology, game theory, and American public policy. He has published scholarly papers on these topics in the American Journal of Political Science, Journal of Politics, Political Analysis, and the Journal of Theoretical Politics. He is the recipient (with Charles Barrilleaux and Tim Salmon) of a 2007 National Science Foundation grant to study income redistribution policy using laboratory experiments.
