Hubert Tworzecki, B.A., M.A., University of British Columbia (1988, 1989), Ph.D., University of Toronto (1994). Previous position: SSHRC post-doctoral fellow at the Center for Russian and East European Studies, University of Toronto. Specialization: comparative politics (Eastern Europe), parties and elections, public opinion, political geography. Publications include Parties and Politics in Post-1989 Poland (Westview Press, 1996) and Learning to Choose: Electoral Politics in East-Central Europe (Stanford University Press, forthcoming). His current research focuses on electoral consequences of European intergration in the post-communist region.
